Location: SouthPark (Onsite 4 days/week, hybrid flexibility)
Contract: 9-month contract (potential conversion)

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Purchasing/Procurement Specialist to support a high-visibility role within our IT organization. This position will manage purchase orders (POs), invoices, vendor coordination, and light licensing/admin tasks for approximately 18 20 IT Directors. The role reports to Director, IT Strategy & Initiatives and partners closely with , serving as a critical liaison between IT leadership, vendors, and finance.

This position is critical to ensuring smooth procurement operations during a high-volume period of renewals and capital tracking. You will be the backbone of IT purchasing, enabling leadership to focus on strategic initiatives while you manage the operational flow.

- Procurement & Financial Operations
- Create and route POs; receive and track invoices; ensure smooth AP flow.
- Track capital expenditures and provide updates for leadership.
- Perform light analysis (e.g., compare prior-year run rates).
- Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors for status updates and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain polished, professional communication with leadership and external partners.
- License & Administrative Support
- Administer software licenses (Adobe, AutoCAD).
- Handle occasional ServiceNow tickets and assist with IT asset tracking.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Manage a high volume of mixed requests from IT stakeholders.
- Maintain visibility across IT teams and ensure timely communication.
- Hands-on experience with PO/invoicing and procurement processes.
- Strong vendor management skills and executive-facing communication.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven; thrives in fast-paced, multi-task environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tables, lookups, basic formulas) and Office Suite.
- Ability to work onsite 4 days/week in SouthPark.
- Exposure to IT environments or experience partnering with IT teams.
- Basic understanding of corporate accounting concepts (depreciation, accruals).
- Prior experience bridging IT and Finance/Procurement functions.
- Familiarity with SAP (POs) and ServiceNow (ticketing).
- Required: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Preferred: SAP, ServiceNow.
- Early-career friendly if coachable and composed with executives.
- High visibility role supporting IT leadership; strong interpersonal skills required.
