Role :- Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Location :- Kansas City, Kansas (Onsite)

Type :- FTE

Instrumentation and Controls Engineer - Hardware ( We do not need PLC programming / Automation Engineers)

Responsibilities of Role:

• Work as an onsite PCIS Engineer (Controls and Instrumentation Engineer) in a process plant environment base in Kansas City.
• Deliver designs and Engineering packages related to power and instrumentation installation for industrial plants.
• Define the scope of work discussing with customer, coordinate with the offshore team and deliver the Engineering Deliverables.
• Coordinate with Customer to collect all the required inputs to complete the Engineering Design.
• Coordinate with vendors and construction team to get the required information for completing the design.
• Attend design reviews along with customer and the construction team and get the necessary approvals.
• Support in construction and start up activities.
• Lead electrical startup of all process and packing equipment.
  
  

Skills Required:

• Should have worked as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer developing engineering design packages for industrial plants.
• Should have Knowledge in specifying process plant instruments and hands on experience in selection of instrumentation.
• Selection and design of controls and hardware for control and monitoring process plant instrumentation.
• Instrumentation knowledge and experience – set-up, calibration verification, adjustments, etc.
• Fisher Valves, Micro Motion Flowmeters, Rosemount transmitters, E H Flowmeters and Transmitter, Rockwell control and communication system and Allen Bradly VFDs
• Prepare Instrument Datasheets, IO Lists, Instrument List, Wiring Diagrams and Engineering Information.
• Knowledge in PLC and SCADA systems for industrial networks.
• Experienced in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.
• Previous experience with MCC’s, VFD’s, electrical troubleshooting, electrical schematics
• Previous work experience in system commissioning and validation would be a plus.
• Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.
