- Support existing and new development under IBM DataStage ETL ver11, using flat file (CSV), MS SQL Server, Excel, and Oracle data for OIT''s CAR billing system
- Intake usage billing data from about 20 different internal service provider sources and transform it into a common billing application running under Oracle
- Maintain existing billing processes using DataStage ETL for 34 billed services and develop new ETL processes for IBM mainframe billing, replacing existing legacy COBOL processing
- Develop error reporting processing out of DataStage for business users to correct errors
- Improve existing DataStage processes where production anomalies exist and enhance pain-points where possible
Required:
- 5 years or more experience and knowledge of IBM DataStage v11 ETL processes, including: DataStage development lifecycle: code, test, verify, deploy and handling inputs in CSV file, SQL Server, Oracle, or Excel; outputs in Oracle
- 5 years or more experience and knowledge of Oracle SQL, including: extensive knowledge of SQL, functions, triggers, and stored procedures and the ability to research processing errors, debug, and implement corrective actions
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with co-developers, supervisors, and client business users
- Basic knowledge of TOAD (database utility)
