- Translate business reporting requirements into robust technical solutions
- Drive data strategy and modernization roadmap
- Cognos Development & Reporting
- Architect and develop complex reports, dashboards, and packages in Cognos Analytics
- Optimize query performance and report execution for large datasets
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting layer integrity
- Implement reusable frameworks and semantic layers
- Data Engineering (ETL & Database)
- Design and develop ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and queries
- Enable seamless data integration across multiple systems
- Ensure data quality, validation, and transformation accuracy
- Modern Data Platform Integration
- Contribute to data modernization initiatives using:
- Databricks
- Apache Spark (Scala / PySpark)
- Integrate legacy BI platforms with cloud/big data ecosystems

- Support migration strategies from traditional BI to modern stacks
- Performance & Optimization
- Identify and resolve ETL and reporting performance bottlenecks
