Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong experience in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) at aircraft/system level
- Expertise in cockpit Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design and usability evaluation
- Deep understanding of pilot workload, situational awareness, and human performance
- Experience in human-in-the-loop simulations and usability validation
- Knowledge of FAA/EASA human factors certification requirements and guidelines
- Ability to integrate human factors considerations into avionics and system design
- Experience in hazard analysis related to human error and operational risks
- Strong skills in usability assessment, ergonomic analysis, and reporting.
- Apply human factors engineering principles to aircraft systems and cockpit design
- Evaluate and optimize HMI for avionics and flight deck systems
- Analyze pilot workload, situational awareness, and human-system interaction
- Conduct human-in-the-loop simulations and usability evaluations
- Support cockpit design decisions based on ergonomic and usability analysis
- Identify and mitigate human error risks and operational hazards
- Participate in simulator sessions, ground tests, and flight test validation activities
- Ensure compliance with human factors certification requirements (FAA/EASA)
- Collaborate with Avionics, Flight Controls, Systems Engineering, and Certification teams
- Support system-level design reviews and certification audits
- Prepare human factors analysis reports and certification documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of human factors methodologies and processes.
