The HR Generalist Warehouse Operations will support daily HR functions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workplace safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a productive, compliant, and employee-friendly work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries and employee concerns
- Provide performance management support including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues fairly and consistently
- Manage HR inbox and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for warehouse and operational staff
- Manage temporary staffing, including timecard reconciliation and invoicing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support performance review cycles and development planning
- Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation processes
- Review and approve timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing
- Collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention
- Support sustainability and compliance programs (GOTS, GRS, GRC)
- Oversee OSHA compliance including OSHA 300 logs, safety protocols, and reporting
- Coordinate workplace safety training, inspections, and incident documentation
- Report workplace incidents and liaise with insurance providers
- 2 4 years of HR experience (warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution preferred)
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
