We are looking for a dependable Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support a short-term Contract assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:
Dismantle approximately 90 workstation setups, including monitors and related hardware, in preparation for removal and packing.
Sort, group, and pack equipment in an orderly manner so items can be tracked and moved without confusion.
Relocate monitors, peripheral devices, and other computer components from work areas and basement storage spaces.
Handle equipment carefully during teardown and transport to help prevent damage or loss.
Follow site directions, schedule expectations, and workplace guidelines while completing assigned tasks on location.
Assist with general technician-style labor associated with office equipment breakdown and physical movement of hardware.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in desktop support, IT technician work, or other hands-on hardware support environments.
Ability to lift, carry, and move computer equipment safely throughout the worksite.
Comfortable performing physical workstation teardown tasks that do not require advanced troubleshooting expertise.
Familiarity with Windows-based environments, including Microsoft Windows 10 and general desktop hardware.
Basic troubleshooting knowledge and awareness of service desk processes, including ticket-based support environments.
Exposure to tools or environments involving Active Directory is preferred.
Reliable attendance and ability to follow arrival times, instructions, and business casual dress expectations.
