We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide essential IT support services, assisting with hardware and software issues while ensuring smooth operations across the organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals with hands-on IT training to build their experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Support the migration to Windows 11 by assisting with computer installations and breakdowns.
Respond to incoming IT support calls and resolve technical issues as needed.
Handle and transport IT equipment to various locations within the building.
Provide basic troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware and software concerns.
Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts and permissions.
Address service desk tickets promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for recurring IT challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation of resolved issues and equipment movements.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing technical concerns.
Requirements
Hands-on experience or completion of an on-site IT bootcamp.
Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Basic troubleshooting skills to address hardware and software issues.
Proficiency in using Active Directory for account management.
Ability to handle service desk tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and end-users.
Physical capability to carry IT equipment within the building.
