Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support small to large-scale project implementations. The role focuses on evaluating business needs, analyzing current and future processes, and providing strategic recommendations for both technical and non-technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to deliver effective solutions
• Analyze business operations to identify process improvement and automation opportunities
• Document business processes, requirements, and data relationships
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Support requirements lifecycle (elicitation, analysis, validation, change management, traceability)
• Provide guidance to technical and testing teams
• Identify risks, issues, and propose solutions proactively
• Collaborate with stakeholders including vendors and government agencies
• Assist in business process redesign and decision-making (buy vs. build)
• Maintain documentation repositories for business rules and models
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in government IT projects
• 5 years of experience in eliciting and documenting business processes and rules
• 3 years of Medicaid or healthcare experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in Medicaid or healthcare insurance
• Experience with Microsoft Project / Project Server
• Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps
