A Harness Designer job opportunity is available with our client in Berkeley, Ca.
Job Duties:
- Completed design and 3D definition of the fire suppression system wire harnesses and any necessary surrounding items.
- Harness passthroughs to enable harness paths through the enclosure.
- Mounting provisions for harnesses within the enclosure
- Connections to the off-the-shelf HVAC system
- Connections to actuated valves and release modules
- Connections for temperature detectors, horns, and manual release assemblies.
- Routing for all the above
- Completed design and 3D definition of the quad skid system wire harnesses and any necessary surrounding items.
- Harness passthroughs to enable harness paths through the enclosure
- Mounting provisions for harnesses within the enclosure
- Connections to the DC-DC modules
- Connections to quad skid management unit PCBA
- Connections for all sensors within the quad skid
- Routing for all of the above.
- Completed 2D definition of the harnesses described above
- Knowledge of 3D data and 2D drawings.
- Zuken harness software as the primary means of designing harnesses.
- SolidWorks Electrical may be used in a limited capacity.
- Familiar with PDM systems for CAD file management
