A Harness Designer job opportunity is available with our client in Berkeley, Ca.

Job Duties:

• Completed design and 3D definition of the fire suppression system wire harnesses and any necessary surrounding items.
• Harness passthroughs to enable harness paths through the enclosure.
• Mounting provisions for harnesses within the enclosure
• Connections to the off-the-shelf HVAC system
• Connections to actuated valves and release modules
• Connections for temperature detectors, horns, and manual release assemblies.
• Routing for all the above
• Completed design and 3D definition of the quad skid system wire harnesses and any necessary surrounding items.
• Harness passthroughs to enable harness paths through the enclosure
• Mounting provisions for harnesses within the enclosure
• Connections to the DC-DC modules
• Connections to quad skid management unit PCBA
• Connections for all sensors within the quad skid
• Routing for all of the above.
• Completed 2D definition of the harnesses described above
  
  

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Knowledge of 3D data and 2D drawings.
• Zuken harness software as the primary means of designing harnesses.
• SolidWorks Electrical may be used in a limited capacity.
• Familiar with PDM systems for CAD file management
