Role: Guidewire Business Analyst

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: Long Term:

Need to have the below:

• Need Guidewire Business Analyst experience with minimum one GW implementation (like Configuration or Integration or Rating experience) and the documentation process.
• Deep understanding on Agile process - Jira/Rally
• Story creation/breakdown, Refining user stories, Lead the workshop and drive the requirements gathering/story elaboration process
• Breakdown the Feature into user story and effectively writes and refines user stories, including clear and accurate acceptance criteria and on relative sizing of story points for the Features.
• Need to identify the risk and dependencies
• Review the test results/outcome and able to provide the demo on the user stories completed
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Lead and participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Create detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with developers and qa teams to ensure successful implementation and testing of solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and team members.
• Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and delivery efficiency.
  
  

Skill Requirements

• Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools such as sql, python, or r.
• Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
• Experience working in agile environments using methodologies like scrum or kanban.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Analytical mindset with a detail oriented and problem-solving approach.
• Project management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  
  

Certifications: Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMIACP) are a plus.
