Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled NVIDIA GPU Repair Technician with expertise in electronics troubleshooting and board-level diagnostics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining GPU cards, ranging from basic fixes such as cleaning and driver troubleshooting to advanced component-level repairs including VRAM replacement and GPU reballing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end diagnostics and repair of NVIDIA GPU cards.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting including cleaning, reseating components, and verifying drivers, power, and thermal performance.
- Identify and resolve hardware faults such as power issues, VRAM failures, PCB damage, burnt fuses, and short circuits.
- Execute component-level repairs including soldering, hot-air rework, and replacement of faulty components.
- Perform advanced repairs such as GPU core reballing and VRM repairs.
- Handle thermal management tasks including thermal paste replacement, thermal pad servicing, and cooling system optimization.
- Conduct software-level troubleshooting including driver cleanup, overclock rollback, firmware/BIOS checks, and GPU monitoring.
- Maintain proper ESD safety standards and ensure safe handling of electronic components.
- Proficiency in multimeter usage (continuity, resistance, voltage testing).
- Strong experience in soldering and hot-air rework techniques.
- Solid understanding of GPU architecture, VRAM, VRMs, and PCB-level faults.
- Ability to diagnose power, thermal, and firmware-related issues.
- Knowledge of GPU drivers, system logs, and diagnostic tools.
- Hands-on experience with component-level troubleshooting and repair.
