Duties
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance to restore appliance functionality quickly and effectively
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues accurately
- Conduct installations, assembly, and routine maintenance of appliances at customer locations
- Utilize a box truck or similar vehicle to safely transport tools, parts, and appliances to job sites
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during each visit
- Document all service activities thoroughly in digital logs and update work orders promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and electrical wiring is highly desirable
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams with confidence
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or operating box trucks is a plus for efficient job site travel
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on equipment repair skills
- Basic assembly skills for installing new appliances or replacing parts effectively
