Google Cloud Platform Engineer

Introduction:

As a Google Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with a focus on AI/ML services. You will work with a team to build complex infrastructure programmatically using tools like Terraform and GitHub. Additionally, you will ensure the security and compliance of the Google Cloud Platform environment.

Responsibilities:

• Terraform code to acquire Google Cloud Platform ML services
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
• Implement Google Cloud Platform security best practices
• Work with Google Cloud Platform networking services such as VPC, VPN, and Load Balancing
• Deploy and manage AI/ML services on Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Google Cloud Platform environment
  
  

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience
• 3 years working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• 2 years of hands-on experience with Terraform and GitHub
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform networking services
• Knowledge of Cloud service offerings such as Data, Analytics, AI/ML on Google Cloud Platform
• Experience on key Google Cloud Platform services like Big Query, Vertex AI, DataProc
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and compliance standards
• Experience with scripting and automation tools for network provisioning
• Understanding of Cloud service offerings on Security and Data Protection
• Basic understanding of Cloud computing concepts like landing zone
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure AI services
• Familiarity with Vertex AI on Google Cloud Platform
