A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for Global Supply Manager to join their team. Softgoods Materials Global Supply management team is responsible for the sourcing, manufacturing, development, execution, and production of differentiated and unique materials including textiles, adhesives, and polyurethane. Part of core business is the creation and development of the world-class industrial designs and as such, the management of the supply chains is required to be equally unique, innovative and specialized.
Responsibilities:
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (hybrid)
Pay Rate: $38.00 - $53.00 ph (DOE)

Responsibilities:
- Supply chain management: identification, development, and management of softgoods materials suppliers.
- On-time-delivery: schedule, capacity and supply planning to meet production demand
- Risk Mitigation: evaluation of technical and business risks using data based analysis and developing sound risk mitigation alternatives
- Program Management: the ability to manage all of the above tasks and personnel resources
- Cross functional: support and collaboration across material, product development, and operations teams
- Technology Development Management: evaluation and development of new technologies using new materials, finishes, and processes.
- Build Support: on site management of materials and final assembly partners to manage the development builds, risk mitigation and ramp
- Travel up to 25%
- 5 years in NPI operations readiness, supply chain, or similar industry
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar discipline
