A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Firmware Engineering Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will coordinate with FW engineering development team, QA teams and cross-functional teams to resolve challenges in development stages of the firmware. This role includes identifying, evaluating, and driving the various activities while clearly communicating the risks, priorities and schedules.
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain project schedules
Learn the various internal tools related to managing projects in audio firmware org
Support EPMs in working with engineering and other cross-functional teams to drive firmware deliverables
Assist in scoping cross-functional allocation requests and fulfillment for prototype builds
Monitor software line that gets built and tested on multiple test vehicles
Collaborate with quality assurance and system integration teams to track critical changes
Keep an optimized build cadence to support hardware partners
Track quality degradations and drive resolution with cross-functional partners
Qualifications:
10 years of technical program management experience.
Strong knowledge of firmware and device driver technologies.
Experience leading engineering teams and technical discussions.
Familiar with debugging and understanding of system logs and diagnostics.
Proven ability to drive issues, prioritize tasks, and execute in rapid development cycles.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams.

Duration: 6 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (onsite)
Pay rate: $77.00 - $92.00/ph (DOE)
