Job Title: ETL / Data Management Tester

Location: San Antonio, TX(onsite)

Experience: 7 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tester with strong ETL and Data Management experience to support data validation, troubleshooting, and platform integration activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating complex data pipelines, reviewing logs to identify failures, and effectively triaging issues between internal systems and third-party platforms such as BigEye.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing and validation of ETL workflows, data pipelines, and data management processes
• Analyze and review application, ETL, and system logs to identify root causes of failures
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and transformation logic across systems
• Triage and distinguish issues originating from internal systems versus external/vendor platforms such as BigEye
• Work closely with developers, data engineers, QA teams, and vendor teams to resolve defects and data issues
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and data validation scripts
• Monitor batch jobs, data loads, and integrations to ensure successful execution
• Document defects, testing results, root cause findings, and resolution steps
• Support regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities
• Participate in defect triage meetings and provide detailed analysis of failures
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Management
• Ability to review and interpret logs for troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Experience identifying and triaging issues between internal applications and third-party tools/vendors
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques
• Experience with data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with monitoring or observability platforms such as BigEye
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data pipelines
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of API and integration testing
