ETL Developer / Data Engineer (2 Positions)

Overview

MDH seeks a senior ETL Developer/Data Engineer to design, automate, and maintain data pipelines supporting the Provider Management Module (PMM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines.
  • Build data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
  • Optimize AWS-based data solutions.
  • Implement data quality and governance processes.
  • Support analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Collaborate with UI/API teams and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

  • 5 years ETL coding experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Python

    • Apache Spark
    • AWS Glue
    • Redshift
    • Athena
    • S3
    • RDS
    • DocumentDB
    • DynamoDB
    • OpenSearch
  • Experience with:
    • AWS Lake Formation
    • AWS Step Functions

    • Relational databases
Experience

  • 3 years as Data Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of ETL, data architecture, distributed computing, and Agile SDLC.

Education

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
