Job Title: System Analyst

Location: Hybrid - Lansing, MI

The System Analyst 3 will act as both a Business Analyst (BA) and Quality Assurance Analyst (QA), responsible for requirements gathering, process analysis, roadmap creation, and testing. This role requires strong communication skills, collaboration across BA, QA, and DEV teams, and proficiency with Agile methodologies and modern project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements; define asis and tobe processes.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop epics, features, and user stories in tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA; manage cards through the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
• Design and execute test plans, document defects, and validate solutions.
• Produce clear, concise documentation and content to support project deliverables.
• Utilize BA tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio) to create workflows, diagrams, and supporting artifacts.
• Apply Agile and project management methodologies to drive project success.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Business Analyst experience: 3 years
• Quality Assurance Analyst experience: 3 years
• Azure DevOps or JIRA expertise: 3 years (epics, features, user stories, lifecycle management)
• Process analysis & documentation: 3 years (asis/tobe, content creation)
• Product roadmap creation: 3 years
• Agile/project management methodologies: 3 years
• BA tools proficiency: 3 years (FIGMA, Visio)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
