Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead large-scale cloud data modernization and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Data Architecture, Data Governance, Airflow, DBT, and Python, with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable enterprise data architecture solutions using Snowflake and AWS
- Lead cloud data modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives
- Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and enterprise data platforms
- Define and implement data governance, security, and data quality standards
- Design and manage data pipelines and orchestration frameworks using Airflow and DBT
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data strategies and roadmaps
- Optimize data processing, storage, and analytics performance
- Support enterprise reporting, BI, advanced analytics, and AI/ML initiatives
- Drive best practices for cloud-native data architecture and engineering
- 15 years of experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering
- Strong expertise with Snowflake Data Cloud
- Hands-on experience with AWS services:
- S3
- Glue
- EMR
- Lambda
- Kinesis
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management
- Experience with Apache Airflow, DBT, and Python
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Lake architectures
- Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud data modernization projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with real-time and batch data processing
- Experience supporting Analytics, BI, and AI/ML platforms
- AWS and/or Snowflake certifications
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
- Candidates must currently reside in Texas
- Must be available to work onsite in Austin, TX
