Job Title: Enterprise Architect II (TOGAF / Business Architecture)

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Rate: $70/hr on w2(without benefits)

Client: CenterPoint Energy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Business Architecture and enterprise transformation. This role focuses on aligning IT strategies with business capabilities, driving enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, and supporting large-scale system modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise architecture across applications, infrastructure, and integrations
• Develop business architecture frameworks including capability models, value streams, and process maps
• Align IT solutions with business strategy and transformation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and governance
• Lead technical solution planning, vendor evaluations, and architecture roadmaps
• Analyze workflows, systems, and recommend improvements
• Mentor teams and provide architectural leadership
  
  

Required Skills:

• TOGAF Certification (Mandatory)
• Strong experience in Business Architecture (capability modeling, value streams)
• Hands-on experience with EA tools (Ardoq preferred)
• Enterprise-level architecture and system integration experience
• Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Required)
• MBA or advanced degree (Preferred)
