Position: Enterprise Architect – Google Cloud Platform

Location: Austin TX

Duration: 6 Months

Experience Required

• 14 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Define and drive cloud transformation strategies and modernization roadmaps
• Lead enterprise DevOps transformation initiatives
• Establish enterprise-wide governance, security, and compliance frameworks
• Conduct technical due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
• Mentor and guide solution architects and technical leads
• Collaborate with C-level executives and board-level stakeholders
  
  

Core Technical Skills: Cloud & Architecture (Google Cloud Platform)

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) enterprise services
• Experience with multi-project architecture, including:
• Google Cloud Resource Manager
• Google Cloud Organizations
  

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Hands-on experience with:
• Terraform
• Google Cloud Deployment Manager
  

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Strong expertise in:
• Google Cloud IAM
• Security Command Center
• Google Cloud Audit Logs
• Organization Policy Service
  

Data & Analytics Platforms

• Experience working with:
• BigQuery
• Dataflow
• Pub/Sub
  

DevOps & CI/CD

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with:
• Cloud Build
• Cloud Deploy
  

Compute & Workload Deployment

• Experience designing and deploying workloads using:
• Compute Engine
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Cloud Run
  

Networking & Hybrid Cloud

• Hands-on experience with:
• Cloud VPN
• Cloud Interconnect
  

Additional Expertise

• Application modernization (monolith to microservices)
• Containerization and serverless architectures
• Migration strategies:
• Lift-and-shift
• Re-platforming
• Re-architecting
• Cost optimization and performance tuning
  
  

Good To Have Skills

• Experience working with Big 4 consulting firms or large system integrators
• Knowledge of emerging technologies:
• AI/ML using Vertex AI
• IoT architectures and platforms
• Experience with industry-specific regulatory frameworks
  
  

Certifications (Preferred)

• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
