Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect Engineer to define and guide enterprise architecture standards and long-term technology strategy across a complex organization. This role is responsible for ensuring business solutions align with enterprise architectural direction while driving scalability, modernization, operational effectiveness, and long-term cost efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in enterprise application architecture, integration technologies, and portfolio-level transformation initiatives, along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and document enterprise architecture standards, target-state architectures, and technology best practices
Ensure business solutions align with long-term architectural strategy and governance standards
Lead modernization initiatives, transitioning legacy environments to future-state enterprise architectures
Develop architecture transition plans across business, data, application, and infrastructure domains
Create and maintain architecture roadmaps at the product portfolio level
Oversee proof-of-concept initiatives and develop whitepapers to support key technology decisions
Communicate architecture standards and decisions across the organization
Establish architecture metrics and reporting to measure impact and maturity
Partner with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate enterprise technology requirements
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning exercises
Required Qualifications
Experience working within an enterprise architecture framework such as TOGAF
Strong background in integration technologies
5 years of experience implementing enterprise applications, including Master Data Management and Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions
10 years of experience in enterprise application development, enterprise architecture, and technology design
Deep understanding of software development life cycles and enterprise technology environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions to senior leadership
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to execute and deliver quality results in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting architecture governance at the portfolio or enterprise level
Experience contributing to modernization strategies across large, cross-functional environments
