We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and motivated Engineering Specialist to join our leading Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes and equipment. Responsibilities:
The Engineering Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment in line with our strategic objectives and operational needs.
- Implementing and managing robotics systems to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in our manufacturing operations.
- Developing and maintaining machine designs that meet our performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
- Utilizing PLCs to automate and control manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex manufacturing problems and implement effective solutions.
- Providing technical support and training to our manufacturing personnel to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of our equipment and processes.
- Staying abreast of the latest manufacturing technologies, trends, and best practices, and applying this knowledge to our operations.
The ideal candidate for the Engineering Specialist position will possess the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a strong focus on process improvement, robotics, machine design, and PLCs.
- Proven experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing problems and implement effective solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of manufacturing operations.
