- The Engagement Manager will lead end-to-end client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of programs within scope, timelines, and budget while acting as the primary interface for senior client stakeholders.
- The role involves managing insurance billing domain initiatives, overseeing program governance, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and solution outcomes.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in insurance technology or consulting roles.
- 5 years of experience in Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or Delivery Lead role.
- Strong experience in property and casualty insurance billing functions.
- Experience leading billing platform-based implementations and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of billing lifecycle including invoicing, payments, allocations, cancellations, reinstatements, collections, write-offs, and refunds.
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream programs.
- Experience managing end-to-end client engagements from initiation to closure.
- Experience acting as primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
- Experience in defining delivery strategy, milestones, and success metrics.
- Experience in program financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including business, technical, QA, and deployment teams.
- Experience in billing modernization or migration initiatives.
- Experience in consulting or system integration environments preferred.
- Own and manage overall client engagement from initiation through delivery and closure.
- Act as single point of contact for senior client stakeholders and ensure alignment on objectives and outcomes.
- Define engagement strategy, delivery approach, milestones, and success metrics.
- Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks proactively.
- Provide advisory support across property and casualty billing functions.
- Guide solution design and validate billing processes against business requirements.
- Ensure billing solutions align with regulatory, compliance, and financial control requirements.
- Lead implementation, upgrade, and enhancement programs for billing platforms.
- Review functional designs and major solution decisions.
- Manage client communications including executive reviews and governance meetings.
- Oversee engagement financials including forecasting, invoicing, and utilization tracking.
- Support proposal, statement of work, and change order preparation.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams.
- Ensure governance, quality assurance, and delivery standards are followed across all phases.
- Manage issues, escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
- Experience in billing system integrations with policy, claims, general ledger, and data warehouse systems.
- Experience in cloud migration or billing transformation initiatives.
- Strong consulting background in enterprise delivery environments.
- Exposure to enterprise billing modernization programs.
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing lifecycle and operations.
