Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Analyse project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to determine requirements.
- Develop detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Source and evaluate pricing for electrical materials and subcontractor services.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals within deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as EBM Vision, Accubid, or similar tools effectively.
- Monitor market trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure up-to-date pricing.
- Identify potential cost risks and opportunities for value engineering.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and supporting documentation.
- Should have strong experience as Electrical Estimator
- Strong knowledge of Labour costing, Electrical material pricing and Electrical materials needed in projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing Bids.
- Proficiency in EBM Vision or similar estimating software such as Accubid.
