The EHS Manager leads environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe workplace and compliance with all federal and state regulations. This role helps build a strong safety culture across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance
- Develop and implement safety programs and corrective actions
- Lead safety training and new-hire orientations
- Analyze incidents and drive preventive actions
- Manage workers compensation and incident reporting
- Oversee environmental programs (hazardous waste, air, water compliance)
- Lead safety committees and promote employee engagement
- 2 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or similar environment
- Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Plant and office setting
- Exposure to noise/dust at times
- Occasional travel for training
