Development Manager | Knoxville, TN

An established Knoxville, TN enterprise organization is seeking a Development Manager to lead a mature, multidiscipline software development team. This role focuses on people leadership, delivery execution, and translating business priorities into reliable technical outcomes.

You ll lead a sizable development organization spanning application, web, telephony, and Microsoft business platforms, serving as the primary link between business stakeholders and engineering teams. Success requires strong leadership presence, delivery discipline, and the ability to balance technical realities with business expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop cross-functional engineering teams
• Own delivery discipline, release management, and quality standards across the SDLC
• Translate business needs into clear, executable technical plans
• Partner with product, project, and business leaders on priorities and scope
• Provide confident leadership and appropriate pushback when needed
