The Contractor for Digital Content is responsible for partnering with Creative/Design, Site Merchandising, Digital Tech, and other cross-functional teams to manage, build, QA, validate, and deliver digital content through the content management system (CMS).
Responsibilities
- Build, preview, self-validate, and schedule for publication all assets across multiple environments/devices/platforms in the current Content Management System multiple times a week to multiple sites.
- Act as a key player on the working team for content as it pertains to the content strategy project initiative and content life cycle process improvement.
- Manage web content by configuring links, text, images, schemes, templates, margins, and more following the tool’s automated workflow and multilayered asset composition.
- Coordinate and manage builds against multiple content publishes with overlapping timelines and requirements.
- Partner with the Site Merchandising team to establish benchmarks & goals to maximize engagement and drive click-through/conversion.
- Attend and engage in marketing meetings where feedback will be needed regarding building, timelines, coordination, etc., on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with design teams based on handoffs for each site, page, and touchpoint from various templates and requirement levels to support the build.
- Responsible for scheduling and partnering with appropriate teams to review and validate the upcoming webset changes in a preview environment for the desktop, mobile, and app experience, ensuring the quality assurance of content before publishing live to the site.
- Highly organized and able to determine personal timelines based on priorities on any given day or week.
- Contribute to the CMS tool-related enhancement project launches, including interactive demos and sessions, while working alongside technical CMS Engineers, UI Engineers, and Product Manager.
- Ability and willingness to problem solve and triage through cross-functional partners such as Designers, UI Engineers, and Technical Partners.
- Ability to monitor early morning deployment callouts and triage the site on behalf of the Content team if required, which typically occurs after work hours on the weekends and/or holidays.
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a field of study in Marketing, Computer Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- E-commerce and retail experience preferred
- Content management system experience preferred
- Contentstack experience preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrates collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team environment, as well as setting personal timelines
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, strategy, and reporting
