Job Description
TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a large-scale Windows 11 deployment for a leading financial institution. This role will focus on imaging devices, deploying upgraded systems, and supporting end users through the transition.
The ideal candidate is a desktop support professional who is comfortable working independently, adaptable to a flexible schedule, and eager to gain experience on a high-impact enterprise project.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Image and configure desktops and laptops for Windows 11 deployment
- Deploy upgraded devices to end users and provide onsite support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during and after deployment
- Support user migrations and assist pilot/test groups
- Ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to new environments
- Document activities and updates within internal systems
- Provide excellent customer service during all user interactions
- Experience with device imaging and deployment
- Strong desktop support experience (hardware/software troubleshooting)
- Experience supporting user migrations or device rollouts
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (daytime imaging, evening deployments)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Windows 11 deployment experience is a plus, but not required
- Work performed across multiple office and branch locations
- Combination of daytime preparation work and evening deployment activities
- Hands-on, onsite support in a professional environment
- Opportunity to support a large-scale, enterprise-wide technology upgrade
