A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a DB2 Developer (w/ Mainframe, z/OS, REXX, JCL, Python, Materialized Query Tables (MQTs), CDC/Replication and Some DB2 DBA Exp.)

Position Type: Full time, Hybrid Onsite Potential Contract-to-Hire (CTH)

Duration: 12-18 Months contract

Location: Chandler, AZ 85224 – (***Hybrid -***3 Days Onsite work and 2 days Remote in a week!!!)

Job Description:

This role is required to be onsite at least 3 days per week

Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities include This person is responsible to:

• Enhance application code to implement look ahead logic for GDG databases at all production plexes
• Assist backup governance team in their interactions with AIT managers on 31 days retention of datasets such as generate necessary evidence when 31 days retention when met by application teams or provide list of gaps to AIT managers.
• Replace current CMDB extracts from remedy to ServiceNow and enhance reconciliation process using data from ServiceNow
• Provide production support for daily jobs covering CMDB feeds MRA3 related backup inventory reports and 31 days retention reports
• Perform audit prescribed checks thoroughly on all reports before sending to Audit governance team
  
  

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of application development and database administration skill set with DB2 on Mainframe.
• Strong Db2 SQL skills, experience with DB2 utilities, materialized query tables, REXX, JCL and Excel functions
• Knowledge of Python and working knowledge of replication with classic data capture for Db2.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Hourly Pay Rate: $60/hr-$65/hr
