We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and maintaining data solutions that support organizational analytics and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integration, accuracy, and accessibility using modern tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle into Azure SQL Server.
Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
Optimize workflows and ensure efficient performance of the data warehouse environment.
Validate and monitor data quality to ensure integrity and reliability.
Create and maintain documentation for processes, architecture, and data models.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and system performance.
Utilize Azure Data Factory for data processing and workflow management.
Apply Kimball methodology to design and maintain efficient data models.
Support the ongoing improvement of data systems and analytics processes.
Requirements
Proven experience in data warehousing, including design and development.
Expertise in ETL processes and tools, with a focus on data integration.
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for creating workflows and managing data pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse systems.
Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing methodologies.
Ability to apply Kimball methodology in data model design.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality.
