The role focuses on systems analysis, requirements refinement, and high-level design across PL/SQL, data movement, and API-centric workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and support data integration for entitlement and access management on a large platform.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional analysis to determine delivery approaches based on requirements.
- Lead backlog refinement sessions and translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct analysis and design leveraging PL/SQL, SQL, data movement, and modernization techniques.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, status updates, and user materials.
- Perform ad hoc PL/SQL reporting and data analysis without impacting production code.
- Collaborate with multiple Agile teams to manage dependencies and scope.
- Support high-level application troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and resolution.
- Evaluate existing systems for functionality, efficiency, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Assist with estimation, planning, scheduling, and prioritization of work.
- Apply documentation standards and procedures within Agile delivery.
- 5 years as a Systems Analyst in software application development.
- Significant experience performing analysis with PL/SQL.
- Ability to distill business processes into epics, stories, and requirements.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills to drive refinement sessions.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to team members and partners.
- Exposure to relational database design and analysis and/or Java API mapping and analysis.
- Experience with Java, Spring Framework, cloud applications (AWS), and REST/SOAP web services (preferred).
- Experience with production support activities (preferred).
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (preferred).
- Understanding of Splunk and Datadog (preferred).
- Understanding of REST, JSON, and APIs (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (preferred).
- AWS certification (preferred).
