Position: Data Management Business Data Analyst
Location: Newark, New Jersey
Hybrid Onsite: 2 days a week
Duration: 12 Month Contract

Must Haves:
- 7-12 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst at an Asset Management/Investment Management firm.
- Must possess strong Financial Services domain experience.
- Must have Fixed income products knowledge.
- Must be very strong with SQL & Excel.
- Aladdin platform experience is required.
- Must understand API's, ETL products, data movement, data management and data feeds.
- Must have a strong understanding of data integration and data analysis.
- Python programming skills are a nice to have
- Work with internal/external stakeholders to analyze, and define business and functional requirements to build fixed income data products (example: derivatives)
- Communicate effectively to conduct walkthroughs with development team, QA and stakeholders and write requirements
- Will be taking full responsibility and ownership of product features to ensure development team and QA has understanding of business deliverables and acceptance criteria and review test cases/scenarios and perform UAT as needed
- Will need strong SQL skills to conduct Data analysis, including diving into code (Stored Proscs, Java) to understand and extrapolate business logic and document data flows based on data analysis
- Solid Python skills
- Will assist PO by providing input into backlog refinement and sprint planning and helping to refine and validate user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Will be proactive in raising obstacles and calling out issues that may impact sprint delivery
