Main Focus: Vertiv SiteScan Administration
- Must have Vertiv SiteScan administration and programming skills (not just monitoring).
- Ability to configure, update, and add components (UPSs, power strips, cameras, etc.).
- Build, program, and configure new items to be monitored.
- Manage license counts for DCE & ITA.
- Program thresholds and set points for alerting and alarming.
- Provide proactive monitoring, administration, and performance optimization.
- Support Data Center Managers to ensure facility duties meet uptime standards (99.99% objective).
- Manage APC DCE/ITA and Vertiv SiteScan environments and servers.
- Ensure seamless operation of HVAC, UPS, ATS, and Generators with proper alarming and escalation.
- Support incident ticketing and change management workflows.
- Document and inventory data center items for compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with data center staff to ensure continuous business operations.
- Maintain environmental monitoring tools for performance, reliability, and security.
- Provide operational support for IT production platforms.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in data center facilities or MEP engineering.
- Background in Electrical Engineering with strong MEP/HVAC exposure.
- Hands-on experience managing Vertiv SiteScan and APC DCE/ITA.
- Solid understanding of HVAC, UPS, ATS, Generators.
- Strong communication skills; ability to prepare reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Familiar with incident/change management tools.
- Able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to support occasional nights/weekends.
- Data center environmental experience (not mandatory, but a plus).
- Vendor oversight experience (maintenance, upgrades, improvements).
- Knowledge of servers, storage, and networking in a data center (VMware, Cisco, HP, Nutanix).
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus, not required.
