Avanciers are seeking a hands-on Google Cloud Platform Solutions/Data Architect with strong expertise in cloud data engineering and modern analytics platforms. The ideal candidate brings 15 years of overall experience, including 10 years in data engineering and cloud-native technologies, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Avanciers are seeking a hands-on Google Cloud Platform Solutions/Data Architect with strong expertise in cloud data engineering and modern analytics platforms. The ideal candidate brings 15 years of overall experience, including 10 years in data engineering and cloud-native technologies, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data migration projects (On-Prem to Cloud / Cloud to Cloud)
- Design and implement Data Mesh and Data Products
- Build and manage scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform services
- Provide architectural leadership for secure, scalable, and reliable platforms
- Develop event-driven and streaming architectures
- Enable AI/ML and advanced analytics solutions
- Drive best practices in Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI
- Expertise in data engineering, data management, and governance
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end data/analytics projects
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform IaaS and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns
- Exposure to Agentic AI
- Experience with event streaming platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
