We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer with a strong background in control systems, embedded development, and programming to independently drive the development of advanced electro-mechanical and robotic medical devices. This role requires hands-on expertise in control algorithms, real-time systems, and data-driven engineering approaches within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead control system design and development for electro-mechanical and robotic medical devices
- Develop and optimize control algorithms (PID, state-space, advanced control techniques)
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and tuning using MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent tools
- Design and implement embedded control software for real-time systems
- Develop software solutions using Python and C# for control, automation, and data processing
- Utilize PySpark for large-scale data analysis, system performance monitoring, and optimization insights
- Integrate and control motors, actuators, sensors, and feedback systems
- Conduct system-level testing, verification & validation (V&V)
- Troubleshoot and enhance system performance, reliability, and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electronics, software, data engineering)
- Prepare technical documentation aligned with regulatory and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards
- Bachelor s/Master s in Control Systems / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
- 3 7 years of experience as a Control System Engineer
- Strong expertise in:
- Control systems design (PID, feedback systems, state-space methods)
- Embedded systems and real-time programming
- Programming languages: C/C , Python, C#
- Data processing frameworks such as PySpark
- MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools
- Motor control (BLDC, servo, stepper systems)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device or regulated industry
- Knowledge of:
- IEC 60601
- ISO 13485
- ISO 14971
- Exposure to robotics or surgical systems
- Experience in data-driven control optimization / predictive analytics
- Familiarity with cloud or edge computing environments (added advantage)
