In this role, the Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving delinquencies, and negotiating payment solutions with professionalism and empathy.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
- Experience in collections or customer service, preferably in banking, finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of consumer and small business loans, credit cards, overdrafts, and collection processes
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Effective telephone techniques with the ability to be firm, direct, and professional
- Ability to work with borrowers, attorneys, and third parties to resolve past due accounts
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in math, reading, writing, reasoning, and basic PC applications (e.g., Excel, Word)
