As a Permanent CNC Programmer in our Engineering team, you will be a critical part of our company's success. Job Details:
As a Permanent CNC Programmer in our Engineering team, you will be a critical part of our company's success. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs for milling machines and horizontal mills using Fanuc controls.
- Use Mastercam, Solidworks and CIMCO software to design and optimize machining processes.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create and modify NC codes.
- Perform regular tests and inspections to ensure that machines are working optimally.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot any issues and improve machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Provide technical support and training to the machine operators, as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry.
- Proficient in CNC programming, including the use of Mill, Fanuc controls, NC Codes, Solidworks, Haas, CIMCO, and horizontal mills.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and production methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of industry safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a strong desire to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Willingness to undergo further training, as needed.
