We are seeking a passionate and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, perfect for an individual with a deep understanding of Mastercam, HAAS CNC Mill and Lathe, Mazal CNC Lathe Mill, CNC programming, and Precision Measurement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and will have a proven track record of success in the field. Responsibilities:
As a CNC Programmer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing CNC programs for a wide range of machinery using Mastercam.
- Operating and maintaining HAAS CNC Mill and Lathe, Mazal CNC Lathe Mill.
- Creating and reviewing drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
- Translating instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
- Monitoring the operations of machines, ensuring they produce pieces that meet specifications and are completed in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular CNC machine assessments to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to develop effective strategies for machining processes.
- Ensuring all CNC machines, tools, and equipment are maintained and are in good working order.
The successful candidate for the CNC Programmer position will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Mastercam, HAAS CNC Mill and Lathe, Mazal CNC Lathe Mill, CNC programming, and Precision Measurement.
- Strong technical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of production procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- A commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in a related field is a plus.
