We're seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to work under the guidance of our client's Machine Shop Supervisor, operating advanced CNC equipment to produce high-quality components for a variety of engineering applications.
Schedules & Pay:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM | $21-$24/hr
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM | $21-$26/hr
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and detailed instructions for precision fabrication
- Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Haas Mills and Fanuc-controlled CNC Lathes
- Adjust programs at the machine and collaborate with programmers for first-article approvals
- Monitor machining performance and recommend improvements
- Work with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Production teams to maintain standards
- Assist with tool selection, part setup, and technique optimization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience
- Proficiency with FANUC and/or Haas controls
- Strong blueprint reading and documentation interpretation skills
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM programming and manufacturing software
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently to meet deadlines
