- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud platforms and on-premise data center technologies.
- Define and implement cloud and data center strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead infrastructure architecture, deployment, and optimization initiatives.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in infrastructure design and operations.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning activities.
- Oversee day-to-day data center operations, including monitoring and incident management.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for infrastructure components.
- 10 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure / Data Center leadership roles.
- Strong experience with IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep knowledge of data center technologies including networking, storage, virtualization, and compute infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with ITIL practices, incident management, and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with architects, project managers, and vendors.
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads in cloud environments.
- Experience with edge computing or hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies for infrastructure teams.
- Awareness of compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC, GDPR.
