Kforce has a client in the greater Hartford, CT area with an immediate need for a highly skilled Azure Hybrid Cloud Engineer to join their rapidly evolving Cloud Infrastructure team. This key role focuses on Azure Hybrid cloud operations, including daily administration tasks, application migration, and responding to system alerts. This position requires a hybrid work schedule (mandatory) and will also have long-term potential, including an opportunity to convert to an employee.

Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure
- Integrate on-premises resources with Azure services, ensuring seamless connectivity and security
- Maintain performance, availability, and cost-efficiency for cloud resources
- Support Azure Authentication services and troubleshoot related issues
- Assist developers with Python and C# application code
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to network, application, and infrastructure
- Monitor and optimize performance using Azure cloud-native tools
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Apply least privilege and zero trust security principles
- Manage source control, build, and release pipelines
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and ARM/Bicep templates
- Work with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to meet business requirements
- Provide technical guidance and training
- Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD and hybrid identity solutions
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep
- Proficiency in Python or C#. Familiarity with PowerShell for Azure automation
- Experience with Azure Policies and security best practices
- Experience with Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus
- Proficiency in using Azure cloud native tools for monitoring
