Our government client is seeking a Cloud Bioinformatics and AI Spe cia list to utilize cloud environments and sof tware, including AI, to modernize biomedical research.
In this role, you will provide expertise in the creation of resources to guide the scientific communities' use of cloud. You will work with government stakeholders and vendors to identify needs for workforce development regarding scientific computational and AI use cases and develop training and tutorial materials. You will utilize experience using cloud tools and AI in a research environment. You will also prepare reference materials such as FAQs or Knowledge Base articles for the government to use in their support of cloud enterprise sof tware.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5 years of experience delivering bioinformatics, computational biology, or scientific AI projects
- Experience providing recommendations and support in the development and implementation of AI models and applications in cloud environments
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks and establish priorities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with cloud-based services at AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- Experience with prompt engineering, including with a research or computer science perspective
- Experience with open source and private LLM
- Experience evaluating new AI technologies and determining their potential impact for customers
- Experience developing and implementing best practices and standards for AI development and support
- Ability to develop, maintain, and share documentation related to AI applications
- Ability to work closely with multi-functional teams
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
