Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Modem Software Engineer with strong expertise in cellular technologies, embedded systems, and L1/PHY layer development. In this role, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and commercialization of next-generation cellular modem software.
Key Responsibilities
- Support modem software development and commercialization for North American deployments
- Analyze logs from field/testing environments, debug issues, and implement fixes
- Contribute to new feature development, validation, and performance optimization
- Work on embedded software enhancements and identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end solution delivery
- Bachelor s/Master s/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong programming skills in C/C (embedded systems)
- Solid understanding of embedded concepts and hardware abstraction layers
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP specifications (L1/PHY layer)
- Experience with physical layer channels (PDCCH, PDSCH, PBCH)
- Familiarity with L2/L3 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC) is a plus
- Hands-on experience in debugging using logs and test equipment
- Ability to take ownership and drive solutions independently
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proactive, innovative, and continuous learning attitude
