Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for specific categories or services in the industry
- Develop and implement category plans and sourcing strategies
- Lead competitive bidding processes including RFPs, RFIs, and negotiations
- Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Develop and sustain strategic relationships with suppliers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing and negotiation strategies
- Maintain awareness of industry and market trends
- Conduct market research and supplier risk analysis
- Support strategic planning and decision-making at the officer level
Minimum:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
- 8 years of experience in sourcing
- 10 years of work experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Experience sourcing in IT, Consulting / Professional Services, Construction / Related Services, or Materials
- Proven ability to lead high-value negotiations and develop complex contract structures
- Strong analytical skills and experience with spend analytics and digital procurement tools
- Competency in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others
- Expertise in developing strategic supplier partnerships and fostering supplier-driven innovation
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Competency in leading cross-functional teams and driving projects of high complexity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Master''s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline (preferred)
