Position: Technical Project Manager

Day to day:

Day to day:
- Chair and lead program-level meetings and governance sessions
- Serve as delegate for the Program Director in critical conversations and decisions
- Maintain and communicate executive-level dashboards and delivery KPIs
- Drive Agile squad performance across technical teams (Tech Leads, Developers, Testers)
- Consolidate delivery plans and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Oversee coordination between internal teams and vendor resources (up to 50 60 people)
- Navigate cross-functional alignment across business units and technology
- Challenge vendors to ensure delivery accountability and risk mitigation
- Support system integration and cloud migration efforts
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory mandates
- Participate in talent planning and team-building efforts
- Experience with Thought Machine or similar platforms (Temenos, Finastra, etc.).
- Mandatory experience in retail or commercial banking transformation.
- Proven track record managing Agile squads and large-scale programs.
- Strong ability to challenge vendors and negotiate deliverables.
- Hands-on experience with complex integration projects.
- Ability to manage large teams (50 60 people) and influence senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive reporting.
- Comfortable making educated decisions on behalf of leadership.
- Previous experience with Canadian banking regulatory frameworks
- Experience leading PMO setup in banking programs
- Thought Machine implementation experience
- Cloud migration expertise (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- Experience leading delivery across hybrid/remote squads
