A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a Business Systems Analyst. This role is 100% REMOTE, 8 months contract, W2 only.
Daily Task Performed:
Technical Brokerage: Facilitate high-stakes design sessions between BU stakeholders, architects and implementers to reach a consensus on a single, global recommended solution.
Requirements Synthesis: Translate diverse BU operational needs into a standardized set of modular requirements for the global platform.
Capability Assessment: Partner with SMEs to evaluate "in-flight" projects within BUs, determining if they can be elevated to global shared services.
Use Case Development: Define and document specific use cases for Cloud Services (e.g. cloud account provisioning and maintenance, cloud infrastructure and deployment, security, etc.) that serve multiple business interests. AI is a focus of our future so some use cases may be supported by AI-powered capabilities. Cloud providers are AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Azure).
Roadmap Alignment: Work with BU leaders and SMEs to ensure the platform's evolution aligns with both regional execution and global strategy.
Collaboration: Work with Product Management, DevOps, and other service teams to align technical plans with our goals
Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and success metrics of delivered functionality to identify enhancements for future releases. Track adoption and user satisfaction metrics.

Platform fluency: Deep familiarity with technical platforms. You speak the language of "Platform as a Product."
Financial Services Context: Experience in a global financial environment is highly preferred, as you'll need to understand the scale and reliability requirements of our BUs.
Process Excellence: Mastery of requirements gathering, gap analysis, and the ability to turn technical discussions into structured, actionable platform definitions.
Security Experience: You have worked with security teams and understand security capabilities like vulnerability management, compliance, and governance
