We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with experience in the staffing industry, preferably US IT Staffing, to drive new business acquisition, build strong client relationships, and expand our client portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in client hunting, account management, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients in the staffing / recruitment industry (IT / Non-IT).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with direct clients, prime vendors, and implementation partners.
- Generate business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients.
- Handle MSP/VMS clients and understand staffing processes (W2, C2C, 1099).
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain and update pipeline, forecasts, and reports.
- 3 years of experience in Business Development in Staffing / Recruitment.
- Strong experience in US IT Staffing (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with client acquisition and lead generation.
- Knowledge of VMS/MSP models (Beeline, Fieldglass, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience using LinkedIn, Dice, and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a target-driven environment.
- Existing client base / strong network in staffing industry.
- Experience working with direct clients in the US market.
- Understanding of technical roles and hiring trends.
