This is 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee, FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.

Education: Bachelor s degree or master s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

Certifications: In the field highly desired

Required Experience:

• Experience with: Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Experience with IIS Administration.
• Experience with network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions.
• Strong professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems is highly desired.
• Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is highly desired.
• Professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software is highly desired.
• IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration.
• Professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services is highly desired.
• Professional experience in information systems engineering or another related field is required

Responsibilities:

• Support and expand department infrastructure.
• Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties
• Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades.
• Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance.
• 5. Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Maintains network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems and application problems; escalating problems to vendor.
• Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
• Find opportunities to refactor solutions to obtain better performance, cost, and efficiency.
• Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines.
• Oversee and configure Azure DevOps organizational settings.
• 11. Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions.
